Microfilm: Newspapers – local papers from as early as 1887 Census Rolls – Shoshone County census from 1880 through 1920 (1890 was destroyed in a depository fire) Our microfilm reader is capable of making copies There is a 25 charge for them Photographs: We have a historical photograph collection
About Us – Wallace Public Library - LiLI Wallace is a small town in the Northern Idaho panhandle We are located on Interstate 90 approximately 14 miles from Montana and 61 miles from Washington The last census had us at 960 people Wallace is the Silver Capital of the World and the “Center of the Universe”
Policies – Wallace Public Library Remember, you must be a resident of one of the cities that collects Library taxes to avoid paying the annual $25 00 fee Items offered: Books are checked out for 4 weeks, DVD’s for 7 days, Magazines and DVD TV Series for 2 weeks
Board of Trustees – Wallace Public Library Held on the 2nd Thursday of: March, June, September and December in the lower level of the library at 4:00 PM These meeting are always open meetings and the public is welcome The next meeting has been scheduled for December 12, 2024 at 4:00 p m
