Weber silver bell - low volume? - The Gear Page Click to expand We started out using the Weber Alnico Silver Bell in one of our combo amp models until keeping up with drummers became an issue for some guys… the WGS Blackhawk Alnico gave us a very similar sound with improved more acceptable perceived volume in band settings (Still use the Weber for guys who want more home-friendly volume)

Celestion Gold vs Weber Alnico Blue Dog vs Weber Alnico Silver Bell in . . . It's supposed to be a higher wattage Blue, but I much prefer a Blue (more mids) The Weber Alnico Blue Dogs are a little thicker in the mid-range to lower-mids and I feel would be a better fit for the Black Cat FWIW: I typically prefer Alnico speakers in all my amps, but I recently picked up a Bad Cat Cub 15r with the Bad Cat V30

How do they sound to you? I have been thinking that the JBL sound is
