Zuma 125 or Honda PCX or Honda ADV? - Adventure Rider The Zuma is only a 125 but has a 4 valve head with variable valve timing so it seems to be comparable to most 150cc scooters The bodywork on the PCX and ADV will make servicing more expensive or complicated if you do your own The PCX and ADV have front wheel ABS The Zuma doesn't have ABS
Ruckus vs Zuma - Adventure Rider The Zuma is twitchy and vague when cornering, the Ruckus feels more planted and, honestly, easier to ride Both scooters can be modded to go faster but I don't really want the Zuma to be any faster I have a feeling that 50+ mph would be a white-knuckle experience The Ruckus on the other hand BEGS for a GY6 engine swap
Why is the Yamaha Zuma 125 So Expensive? - Adventure Rider The Zuma certainly catches my eye, I currently have a Honda Metropolitan, a Honda Elite 110 and a Kymco Compagnia 110 The Kymco is the most fun to ride but the build quality isn't up to a Honda or Yamaha but they are cheaper
2024 Yamaha Zuma 125 - Adventure Rider Hey Zuma owners! I am thinking about trading my Trail 125 for a Zuma 125 Anyone compared these based on comfort and speed? I would not be off roading it, just riding on gravel roads some Is there enough space for a 5'11" rider? How is the foot space for a size 12? #20
PCX or ADV150? - Adventure Rider An "owners" thread was launched last June or so just as I was opting for a new Zuma, and I didn't read anything that impressed me about the new-engine advantages, and speed in particular More importantly, I believe there are non-speed advantages, including valve-checking as I recall
Yamaha Zuma 50F Tire Sizes!! - Adventure Rider I run a Michelin Bopper 130 90 on the rear of my Zuma 50F - no issues other than the rear tire kisses the ground on the centerstand (tho my YSS rear shock is a little longer, too)
Vino -vs- Zuma - Adventure Rider The Zuma has a higher seat height which might put some people off, but the 12" wheels make it more stable There is a a HUGE selection of aftermarket products available for the Zuma, so you can upgrade the brakes, suspension, and even increase displacement to 206cc
Loss of top speed, symptom of variator issue? - Adventure Rider I had a Zuma 50 that got slow after about 5k miles Disassembly found that the sliding pulley was sticky - they get worn in the "C" shaped slot just before it would it allow for maximum opening A NCY replacement, new torque spring, and re-greasing took care of the issue Couple of weeks ago same type of issue with the Vino 125 my wife likes
Help me decide between the Vino 125 and the Zuma Base He claims the Zuma 49cc 2 stroke has all most identical acceleration to the Vino 125 4 Stroke??? Is the Zuma much louder than the 4 stroke? Smoke? Smell? And that the Vino 125 would have bettter top end speed Says the Zuma is the scooter of choice for the rental companies in the islands as they are peppy and most of all bullet proof
