Any tips on drilling out 8. 5mm peg hiles to 10mm? : r Luthier - Reddit If I want to enlarge 8mm to 10mm I'd use a 10mm forstner bit to drill a hole in the scrap, then clamp that to the headstock in the right position (clamps are secured tight!!) Then when you use the 10mm forstner to drill the actual hole the mdf acts as a guide to hold the bit in the right place while it starts the cut

The stretchy links in the Forstner are great, but I had mine replaced once under warranty as they loosened up within 2 months of wearing it The replacement has been great so I assume it was just a dud The deployment clasp is also very nice The jubilee doesn’t come with the stretchy links though My uncle seiko bracelets have also been solid
