New JLK bullets 2020 | Snipers Hide Forum I decided to test the new JLK 130 grain bullets in my 260 Remington, since that chamber permits the bullet to reach the lands The rifle is a trued Remington 700 built by Barney Eiseman at Shooter's Station in Conroe, TX, with a Krieger 26" 8-twist barrel, and bedded in a MagPul Hunter 700 stock Jewell target trigger and Bushnell Elite 6500
JLK Vs. Berger | Snipers Hide Forum Re: JLK Vs Berger not sure why but i've had much better results in my rifles with the bergers: 190 gr 30 cal in 308 300 win mag, 180 gr in 7mm wsm, 130 gr 6 5 in 6 5 x 47 the 7mm jlk's didnt want to stabilize in my rifle, thought the jlk's may be great in yours
7mm JLK 180gr VLD, anyone using them in 7WSM? - Snipers Hide Re: 7mm JLK 180gr VLD, anyone using them in 7WSM? By the way, after 68 rounds last Saturday without cleaning, I came home, filled the barrel with Wipeout Foaming Bore Cleaner, let it sit all night, ran a wet patch through it Sunday morning, all the yuck came out including ALL the copper
Barrel twist ?? | Snipers Hide Forum Get the JLK 80 It has the best BC for an 80 gr, and it stabilizes fine in 1:7 twist Also, the 90 gr bullet offers no advantage in wind drift, since the 90 gr is going slower, and the JLK 80 BC is so high The JLK 80 should be jammed 010" into the lands to get best accuracy These shoot fine out to 1,000 yards, and I have won an F-class match at 600 with them Mag length has no bearing on F
Range Report - 130gr JLK by the numbers - evaluate my analysis Re: 130gr JLK by the numbers - evaluate my analysis ^^ That's what I'm talkin' about^^!! Great analysis James I agree with your assessment of the BC's for the JLK 130 VLD, as well as the expected velocity based on what you get with the 140 Go forth and reap the benefits of your knowledge! BTW, some more recently discovered middle weight 'gems' for the 6 5mm are the Norma 130 grain Diamond
Range Report - Berger 135 gr Classic Hunter - Snipers Hide IMO, the best alternatives to bergers are the JLK and ELDX The 135 JLK is a beast and stupid accurate and do everything a berger does on game I just picked up 100 of the new Sierra Game Changers in 90gr 6mm I'll give those a go in my BR, as I already have a stock pile of the 95 TMK's for match use There are other options to bergers out there
Swampworks JLK Bullets Info | Snipers Hide Forum Does anyone know the bc on the JLK 110 VLD in 6mm? Does anyone know if said bullet will stabilize in a 1-8 twist 6mm br Any opinions on swampworks bullet will be appreciated
115 DTACs. 6 CM. What is realistic velocity? - Snipers Hide I have 110 smk and 110 jlk on hand already, but have not used 1:7 5T 26" Rock Creek is new blank I'm looking for new diet Curious what velocity is typical Basically, trying to compare AB mock ups in app to see if juice is worth the squeeze Wind performance my only goal here Tentative plan, Dasher for fair weather, mid range matches
JLK bullets on game | Snipers Hide Forum Re: JLK bullets on game I'm going to try the 140 Berger VLDs this year on deer in a 6 5x47 (The JLKs are on order) They both use the same J4 jacket and are both VLD's From what I've been told, the JLKs perform the same Now I've probably been spending too much time on the internet, but I've been hearing stories of the Bergers failing to
Range Report - What is the BC of JLK 6mm 115gr? - Snipers Hide JLK makes a good bullet but the Berger Hybrid 105gr in 6mm is hard to beat I pulled all my ammo with a 115 DTAC bullet and switched over to the hybrid, pointed The JLK 140gr 6 5 is a beast though!
