Trying to figure out which Yihua hot air stations are legit good - Page 1 Is this Yihua brand of hot air rework stations any good? Or should I be looking for something else? I find it suspicious that different brands have similar model numbers, are these all bootlegs of some other known name brand and that is why they are cheap? If so, I wasn't able to find the original brand, I thought Yihua was the original brand

Deciding between Hakko FX-888D or YIHUA 862BD+ soldering stations - EEVblog The Yihua station uses handpiece and tips that are basically cloned from the older Hakko 936 (and others of that time) soldering station The tips on Hakko 888 are a tiny bit different, I think a few mm longer, but they would probably work on Yihua station There's lots of tips on eBay for the Yihua, you can buy them in packs of 10 if you want
